Last big day of Ironman training. Long ride from Goleta Beach to Malibu punctuated by 12 miles of Hard running. Thanks to the very best coach anyone could have Mary Kane for setting all of this up and nursing me through some difficult obstacles. Congrats to Michael and Abby for absolutely nailing the ride and run today and thanks for sticking with me on those last few quad cramping miles! You're the best and I can't wait till race day! So many family and friends coming out to see me race this one. I'm more than a little nervous, it means a lot to me to have you there and I'm very excited!

Coach Mary advised me on every small detail I needed to help me look and feel like a seasoned triathlete; things like transition tips, necessary gear, nutrition tips and most importantly training and race planning.
